The carb cycle diet plan can be done best on a 6 meal a day plan. This is because this will help us have sufficient food to drive our body and keep our metabolism up, which is very essential in this diet.

Basically, there are three days in a carb cycling diet low carb diet high carb diet and no carb dietOn a low carb day, we can cut the intake of carbs by limiting the meals to 3 with any types of carbs in it. There should be no carbs in the rest meals, only lots of veggies and lean proteins. On a low carb day, proteins are very important as they will be the major portion of our diet. Therefore, we need to make sure that we don’t skimp out.

On a high carb day, we can have four out of 6 meals that will contain as many carbs as we wish. However, we need to make sure to combine it with some lean proteins such as canned tuna fish white turkey or chicken meatProtein shakes with at least 50 g of protein in it. We may want to go 1 lbs or 1 g of body weight when we take protein. This will help preserve our muscle definition.

Egg whites and cottage cheese.These are some of the best proteins which we can consume when we run out of the carb cycling diet.On no carb day, we should not have any carb at all. The carb source will be mostly from the protein or veggies which we consume throughout the day.These foods mentioned above will help keep up with our protein intake during these 3 basic cycles. It will help feed our muscles and without it we may lose them and will cause our metabolism will drop down.
